This opportunity sounds as if it would only last for 1 year, but may not go
beyond that if funding is not approved for the next fiscal year. Whoever
applies for this position needs to be aware of the risk should they plan to
uproot their lives and relocate across the country. Even if I did meet the
qualifications for this position, I would not be interested in applying for
it, because they could decide not to include the position in the next year's
budget. It sounds too risky for my comfort level. I would only be
interested in applying for a position that has a higher likelihood of
becoming a permanent position. This position would be best suited for
someone who is comfortable with the risk that the likelihood of this
position is not going to be a permanent one. Those are just my thoughts.
