There is actually a publisher in Merrick NY called Cross Cultural Communications.
You might want to check him out.  He isn't listed in the phone book under this, darn it.  You can check the web.  I met the gent some years back, but he wasn't right for what I wrote.

Fellow journalists,

I've always said the best and the worst of journalism is creative writing.
Yes, you're allowed to quote me. (Smile.)

Well this time, I decided to go beyond journalistic realms and have just
finalized and copyrighted a novel, title, "With Best Intent." It sure was
different from writing an article, or even a series, believe me!

I am writing to inquire of any of the rest of you who may have done
something similar, or who have good publishing contacts to consult on best
way to publish. FYI the book is relatively short at around 70,000 words, and
the audience is likely to be a fairly educated readership interested in
cross-cultural communication, family histories and psychological
relationships.

Any advice you may provide on or off list will be deeply appreciated. If you
wish to contact me directly, use

I will be happy to share an excerpt of the novel and/or discuss further off
list for those interested as well.

Best regards,
Elizabeth Sammons
