Hello Jordan,
One of our list members, Elizabeth Sammons had two helpful posts on
opportunities for jourmalists. One was an announcement about Google's
journalism internships where students would work at a media outlet
including the Texas Tribune and ProPublica. She also posted information
about a writing course offered through the Hadley School for the Blind.
I would have to search the archives for those messages.

  Thank you for your feedback! I appreciate your advice and encouragement.
I will continue my blog. If anyone has a story I should cover, please let
me know. I've been using twitter and other social media, but yes,  Google
Plus isn't very accessible. I haven't tried the iPhone app, though.  If
you hear of any internship/fellowships or a job opening, can you please
let me know? I really want to boost my resume.
