[Journalists] meeting during national convention

Did you meet? How did it go?
I'm not a journalist btw, but I do enjoy writing and have considered
applying to some part time positions for local periodicals which do not
require a journalism degree.

Hello everyone!

I hope this note finds you well.

I'm writing to gauge whether we have interest in having a meeting during our
national convention in Houston which is July 1-6.
Please note, that this meeting will be in person. Unfortunately, because of
hotel costs of having an Internet connection, we can't have a virtual
meeting.
The two days where we have the most flexibility in terms of available times
are Saturday, July 1 and Sunday,July 2.

I need to let the person in charge of convention logistics know whether we
want to meet by March 17.

Please note that I am happy to schedule a zoom meeting during the year as I
think it's good to discuss ideas, strategies for producing our stories and
content as blind people and so forth.
My apologies that I haven't been particularly active as a group chair, but
my work and other obligations keep me incredibly busy.
