Greetings Fellow Leaders:
Join Bowie and me, if virtually, next week on 24 October at 7 P.M. I will be a co-speaker.
Increasingly, I am blessed to have a visible footprint in public policy, as a lawyer and as a part-time law professor; hopefully reshaping the biased notions of disability.

Notably, I had great pleasure to moderate a panel for NDEM today, Wednesday, at CSU College of Law.
I deeply value my three colleagues (law professors with disabilities) plus interesting, smart people, who co-spoke today. They all know the benefits and challenges of disability and their profound role as professors. I am honored to learn from them, as I enter into teaching.

Let's Talk About It: Advancing Equity and Access for those with Disabilities in the Work Force

Join us as we celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month with a virtual program paying tribute to those with disabilities as integral contributors to the American workforce, highlighting the issues related to disability employment hiring, training, and retainment. Gary Norman, lawyer, consultant, and part-time instructor of healthcare law and finance at Cleveland State University Law School will provide a historical overview of the fight for equality waged by those with disabilities and the challenges they still experience. Tilia Dennis, an Employment Specialist from L.I.F.E, Inc. a Not-for-Profit Agency dedicated to helping adults with special needs empower their lives, will share job seeking strategies and resources.
