Fellow Federationists,
I wanted to let you know of a few very exciting opportunities for
blind students.
Firstly, the 2016 NFB national scholarship is now live! For more
information or to apply, please visit the following link:
https://nfb.org/scholarships
In addition, NABS is offering students the opportunity to apply for
financial support for Washington Seminar. Washington Seminar is an
event held in the winter at which Federationists gather on Capitol
Hill to advocate for legislative priorities that are important to
blind people. You need not be an expert to attend; there will be
explanations of the legislative priorities given at the event, as well
as fact sheets that you can study and use in your meetings on the
Hill. If you are interested in attending, and would like to apply for
this funding, please visit the following link:

If you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions about these items,
or any other events/projects that NABS is working on, please feel free
to email me at hbwilliams16 at gmail.com .
All Best,
Hindley
