Hello, fellow students,,
I wanted to let you all know that I am pretty flexible in
terms of scheduling the time for a meeting. I am also available on Monday,
as well as Sunday, or any other day starting from December 13th.
Please reply to this e-mail with your availabilities, and we will go with
the most convenient time for the majority.
Have a great day, everybody, and thank you, Alosha for passing on the
information to the list.
Kindly,
Anya
President

Hi Emily and Alosha,

To clarify, the EYE Retreat is open to any blind or visually impaired person
who is seeking college preparation. Last year we had students come from two
countries and eight states. It is held in North Carolina, but anyone from
any state or country is welcome.

We are a independent nonprofit organization incorporated in the State of
North Carolina. We do receive funding from the NC Association of Blind
Students and the Wake Federation of the Blind. We'd ask that you share this
information with any interested persons. Our curriculum, legal documents,
and other information is available on our website at www.eyeretreat.org or
you can contact me directly off list at aachase1 at gmail.com

Thanks.

Alan A. Chase, M.Ed.
President and Director, Envisioning Youth Empowerment Retreat

Thank you Alan for explaining the details. I will continue to encourage
participation as it sounds like a great opportunity.
Best, Alosha.

Dear students:
I hope that your finals week is going well despite the heightened levels of
stress. It looks like we should have a meeting reasonably soon to discuss
plans for Washington seminar, possible social events, and generally moving
forward. This meeting should be no longer than 45 minutes to an hour at the
most if we all strive for efficiency. Would like to get a sense for what day
and time would work best for all participants, so please respond to this
email with your preferences. I'd like to have it between six and eight
o'clock in the evening and preferably not a Friday. As always, feel free to
reach out with any questions, comments, or concerns and made the grades be
ever in your favor :-) Warmest regards, Alosha Moore.
