Hello everyone,
I hope all of you are getting ready for the holiday season! At the Keystone Chapter, we are also getting ready with lots of opportunities to improve our communities and make it a better place for blind people.

First off, we are again doing holiday gift wrapping at Barnes & Noble bookstore in Rittenhouse Square this year! We will be wrapping gifts for donations. But more importantly, this is such a wonderful opportunity to engage the public and show them a positive image of blind people. It is also an opportunity to give back to the community as well.

Here are the dates and times for which you can sign up to volunteer.
Saturday December 15, 2018
9:00 - 1:00
1:00 - 4:30
4:30 - 8:00

Sunday November 16, 2018
11:00 - 2:00
2:00 - 5:00
5:00 - 8:00
This is always a fun time and a great way to bring awareness about the NFB and what we do!

Next, we are continuing to collect money to purchase holiday gifts for the students at St. Lucy Day School and Archbishop Ryan Academy for the Deaf. If you are able to help out with this project, it would be greatly appreciated. A contribution of $20 can purchase gifts for 3 students. There are approximately 40 students at the school. If you would like to help, please bring money for this activity to the next chapter meeting on December 8, 2018. Thank you to everyone who already contributed to this effort!

Last but not least, our next chapter meeting will be on Saturday December 8, 2018. After the meeting, we will have a holiday gift exchange! If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift with a value between $15 to $20 dollars to the meeting. We will all draw numbers, and whichever gift is attached to the number you draw, that will determine which gift you get! Then we will be going to the Fox and Hound Bar and Grill for our annual holiday lunch. The Fox and Hound is located at 1501 Spruce Street, Philadelphia.

Please let me know if you are able to help with Barnes and Noble and on which date/time. Please let me know if you are coming to the holiday lunch and if you are also participating in the gift exchange. Don't forget to bring any donations for St. Lucy to the next chapter meeting. We have a lot of things going on this month and I hope that you can all join in on the federation fun and festivities!
