Subject: The passing of Ms. Katrina D'Oliveira

Dear Members and friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I inform you of the passing of Ms. Katrina D’Oliveira.She was the mother of Eugenio D’Oliveira, who is the beloved treasurer of the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the NFb of PA.

Ms. D’Oliveira passed away on Sunday, April 12th at 10:44am.She had been taken to the hospital about a week ago because she was experiencing symptoms of the corona virus, and because of the severity of the symptoms she was admitted.Her immune system was not able to hold back the disease.

Ms. D’Oliveira was a loving mom, and a great friend and supporter of the Greater Philly Chapter.She travelled with us to Atlantic City, as she supported our fundraiser.She was always waiting for one of our Fish platters after our fish frys.Ms. D’Oliveira even traveled to Baltimore to our National Headquarters to support one of our national fundraisers.She has even attended a NFB National Convention.I will never forget her infectious laugh as we talked about everyday topics when we got the chance to have a conversation.
