Hi Harriet,
I am also hearing from at least one of the candidates for office that it is now too late to count on the US Postal Service to deliver your mail-in ballot in time to be counted for the primary, that any mail-in ballots yet to be mailed are better off hand-delivered because the post office may take too long to deliver it before the June 2 primary.
I have been struggling with applying for a mail-in ballot, so it looks like I'll have to find a way to get to the polls on June 2.
Stay well,
Justin

Hello everyone again,
Please see the additional information regarding mail-in ballots below.
Basically, if you request a mail-in ballot, the polling place has a record that you have requested this. So, if you request a mail-in ballot, and then decide to actually go to the polling place on June 2, 2020, you should take your mail-in ballot to the poll with you. Otherwise, you will be given a provisional ballot at the polling place. Provisional ballots are not counted unless necessary.
Thanks,
Harriet

Good Evening All,
I am not sure how many of our members have applied for mail-in ballots or are planning to go to the poling place.
I learned some information today that I believe should be shared with your Chapter members.
Their request for a mail-in ballot is recorded in the book at each poling place. You need to know that if an individual has applied for a mail-in ballot and then decides to go to the poling place, they need to take that mail-in ballot with them. If they did not receive the mail-in ballot or did not bring it to the poling place, they will be instructed to vote using a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots will not be counted unless the election results are very close.
Please share this information with your membership.
Thank you,
Lynn
