      Hey everyone,
Our June 2024 meeting will be held this Saturday on June 8, 2024 Using a hybrid model, with an in-person and a virtual option. The meeting will begin at 10:15 a.m. Please see below for the directions to the Penn Museum and the Zoom link for the meeting.

At the meeting we will be discussing several upcoming events such as our national convention in Orlando, Florida this year and our state convention in Erie, PA in November. Other events include the following.

Greater Philly and Keystone Chapters Brunch
Come join us on June 22, 2024, for a combined chapter brunch. We will start by joining the   Greater Philly chapter for their monthly meeting, which starts at 10:00 a.m. After that, we will have our brunch. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other, enjoy good food, play some games, and have a nice time together. If you would like to help out, you may bring a dish to share with everyone. Some specific things we are needing are:

1. main dishes, like eggs, pancakes or French toast
  2.
2. Beverages, like Coffee, Juices,water
  3.
3. If possible, please consider bringing something vegetarian.
  4.
 4. We also need people to sign up for clean up.

Dinner for A Week
Our 2nd annual Dinner for a Week fundraiser is back! If you are able to donate cash or a gift card to help make this activity a success, please bring to the June meeting this Saturday. We are looking for gift cards to the following national restaurant chaians; Cheesecake Factory, Outback Steakhouse, Panera Bread, Texas Roadhouse, Chili's, Chick Fil-a, and Chipotle. If you would rather solicit one of these restaurant chains, please let me know. I can supply you with a letter you can use.

Ghana Project
We are still collecting children's books, either print or Braille, and old canes for a School for the Blind and Deaf in Ghana, Africa. If you are able to help, you may bring items to the June meeting this Saturday, Or, you may contact me.

2024 Dues
We are collecting dues for 2024 now. The dues for membership is $10.00. You may pay by cash, paypal, or by paper check.

  *   If paying by cash, just bring it to the meeting.

  *   If paying by paper check, please make it out to "Keystone Chapter, NFB of PA" and mail it to our treasurer David Goldstein at 1425 Parklane Road, Swarthmore, PA 19081.

Please note, dues for 2024 MUST be paid by December 31, 2023 for membership for the following year!

Travel to the Penn Museum via SEPTA
Our new meeting location is the University of Pennsylvania Museum of Archaeology and Anthropology, otherwise known as the Penn Museum. The museum is located at 3260 South Street in Philadelphia. It is accessible by SEPTA. The Penn Medicine Station is directly across the street from the museum and the following regional rail lines stop there, Airport Line, Manayunk/Norristown Line, Media/Elwyn Line, Warminster Line, West Trenton Line, and Wilmington/Newark Line. The following bus routes stop within a few blocks of the museum, 30, 40, 42, and 49. The following trolley lines stop near the museum, 11, 13, 34, and 36. The Market-Frankford line is also an option.
