Hi everyone,
I wanted to send a reminder to folks as we are in the last week of my play,
Handsome and Petal, with performances happening Monday through Wednesday of
this week.
I also wanted to highlight our audio description offerings. Audio
description is a service that provides live real-time descriptions of the
visual elements of a play to a blind and visually impaired audience. It
will be provided by my good friend and colleague, Gina Pisasale. She is a
wonderful audio describer who I had the pleasure of coaching as she entered
into the field.
Special shout out to my Mom, Maria Ceferatti, who helped with audio
description efforts as well!
Additionally, while all performances start at 6 PM, before Monday and
Wednesday's performance, there will be a sensory tour starting at 5:30 PM.
This is a chance for audience members to preview the costumes, props, meet
the actors, etc. Everyone is welcome to this delightful experience, even if
you don't necessarily need the audio description services.
I'm copying the original message below with my announcement, along with the
addresses of the parks for convenience.
I wanted to let you know about an upcoming play I will be performing. I am
working with a small local theatre company called REV Theatre Company. I
will be in a children’s production called Handsome and Petal, an original
adaptation of Hansel and Gretel. This is quite a unique and fun-filled
play. My character is named Helmut, a German former Las Vegas big cat tamer.

Read below for the details.

SINGING! DANCING! SO MUCH FUN! KID POWER! FREE PERFORMANCES! AND LOTS AND
LOTS OF FREE CANDY!!!

runaway big cat tamer who’s terrified of cats!

Ladies and gentlemen, and especially children of all ages, don’t miss REV
