Hey there, PA Federation Family,
We're only 17 days away from our State Convention in Hershey. Are you
going? If you are and haven't ordered your meals, you've only got a week
left to do so.
Late-breaking news: there is no DAN Group meeting tonight. Sorry for the
confusion; I found out about an hour ago.
Five meetings, two fundraisers, and one important convention deadline!
This week on Federation Focus [1], David covers upcoming chapter and
division meetings, the Boldly Blind Cabaret on October 30, and the
Pennsylvania Association of Blind Merchants Networking Holiday Party on
December 12.
The NFB of Pennsylvania State Convention is November 5-8 at Hershey
Lodge, and October 25 is the deadline to order convention meals! Get a
preview of the Tech Seminar, Federation Feud, auction, student
activities, and banquet.

Register now for our annual State Convention in Hershey from November 5

Marathon Volunteers Needed
We need volunteers for our table in the convention center on Friday,
November 20, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM, and Saturday, November 21, from
8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Shift times will be about three hours. We also need
volueers for all three races. We will have a specific area along the
race routes to cheer runners on. Races are Sagurday and Sunday. We have
not been assigned our location yet. If you can help, email David at

one of the biggest celebrations of HBCU culture and football? In Episode
161 of White Canes Connect, hosts Lisa Bryant and David Goldstein
welcome Shawn Callaway and Audrey Lester to discuss the inaugural
Accessibility Symposium organized by the National Organization of Blind
Black Leaders (NOBBL), its HBCU Committee, and the Blind Greek and
