For more than a year now we have been doing what we call our transition to blindness call. It has been a tremendous success, and while it does include people who are new to blindness who are looking for tips and techniques, we have found that a number of us
who are veterans at being blind also have our own questions. We are also finding that the word transition is associated more with high school to work or high school to college than it is with moving from site to blindness.</p>

For all of these reasons we are going to change the name of our group so that it is clear that anyone who has questions about blindness techniques or has suggestions to offer will feel free to participate in the call. If you have a struggle and need a strategy,
this call is for you. If you have stumbled onto a good idea and just can’t wait to share it, again, this call is for you.</p>
