<div dir="ltr">Good afternoon fellow thespians!<div><br></div><div>I hope you are all well. </div><div><br></div><div>Many of you may be aware of my recent involvement as an accessibility analyst for the Audio Description Learning Network (ADLN). For those who are unfamiliar, Audio Description is an accessibility service that allows for human narration of visual elements for TV shows, movies, plays, and musicals. </div><div><br></div><div>To diversify the theatrical audio description landscape in Philadelphia, ADLN was formed, as a collaboration of four local theatres, to provide training and monetary resources for new BIPOC and LGBTQ+ audio describers. The four theatres in this initiative include: Hedgerow Theatre Company, 1812 Productions, People's Light, and Wilma Theatre. <br></div><div><br></div><div>ADLN has just completed our first year of training and programming, and we are excited to share our findings with you! You are invited to a virtual presentation, via Google Meet, to discuss our work over the past year, ask questions, provide feedback for the future, and learn how you can get involved in this exciting initiative. Please see the below note from ADLN project manager, Lee Etzold, which includes more information about the presentation, along with joining instructions. </div><div><br></div><div>"Hello! I would like to invite you to this Virtual Share and discussion about what we've been learning over the past two years through the Audio Description Learning Network. Members of the network will introduce new audio describers, share our findings and discuss the future! The presentation will be recorded and followed by a conversation. Please share this invitation with anyone you know who might be curious about offering Audio Description and/or sharing their experiences using it"</div><div><br>ADLN Virtual Share<br>Monday, May 6 · 2:00 – 3:30pm<br>Time zone: America/New_York<br>Google Meet joining info:<br><br>Video call link:<br><a href="https://meet.google.com/xwd-pfrd-rip">https://meet.google.com/xwd-pfrd-rip</a> <br>Or dial: (US) +1 562-232-9142 PIN: 178 912 668# <br><br>More phone numbers: <br></div><div><a href="https://tel.meet/xwd-pfrd-rip?pin=7255956910133">https://tel.meet/xwd-pfrd-rip?pin=7255956910133</a> <br></div><div><br></div><div>I thank you for your interest and support, and hope to see many of you there!</div><div><br></div><div><div><a name="SignatureSanitizer__MailAutoSig">Simon
