<p class="p1">Hey there, Keystone Chapter Members and Friends,</p>
<p class="p1">It was a very chilly day on Saturday for our February Keystone Chapter meeting! The members<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span>in-person at the Penn Museum enjoyed an elevated version of Brown Butter Rice Krispie Treats freshly made by Eliz. She was testing the recipe and I think it passed with flying colors! We listened to Presidential Release <a href="https://nfb.org/sites/nfb.org/files/2025-01/presidential_release_february_2025_chapter_version_final.mp3"><span class="s1">#546</span></a> from President Mark Riccobono. He spoke about Washington Seminar — more on that below.</p>
<p class="p1">After the meeting seven of us walked a few blocks to Landmark Americana for lunch.</p>
<p class="p1">2025 Washington Seminar</p>
<p class="p1">Simon Bonenfant and I gave a recap of the event from earlier in the week. We talked about the Washington Seminar Agenda. We also recounted our time we each got to speak one-on-one with our new Senator Dave McCormick.</p>
<p class="p1">Affiliate Update</p>
<p class="p1">NFB of PA President Lynn Heitz gave an update on what is coming up in the affiliate. She spoke about the upcoming State Leadership Seminar happening on March 19 & 20. It is free, but you must <a href="https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfzUJ7O_j6DTwOyKXpiqbS9Hvb05ElEeoabu6yTGTXCxOZKrg/viewform?usp=header"><span class="s1">register</span></a>. Lynn also gave an overview of our upcoming <a href="https://nfb.org/get-involved/national-convention"><span class="s1">National Convention in New Orleans July 8-13</span></a>. Lynn also mentioned our State Convention coming to Harrisburg from November 13-16.</p>

<p class="p1">We have completed the book collection stage and are now preparing the books for shipment to Ghana. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this project, with special thanks going to our member Kosi Asabere for her work on this project.</p>
