I hope you are doing great! This Saturday, October 3, 2026 will be our next Keystone Chapter meeting, and it will be held using a hybrid model, with an in-person location at the Penn Museum, and a virtual option. Please note, that this is a schedule change
from our regular second Saturday of the month meeting. October 3, 2026 is the first Saturday of the month, and date for our October meeting.</div>

First off, our chapter sends our deepest condolences to Jim Antonacci, president emeritus of the NFB of PA, on the loss of his wife of 57 years, Patricia Antonacci. Pat passed away on Friday September 18, 2026 at home with Jim and his daughter, Julie, by her

Our Pennsylvania state convention will be held at the Hershey Lodge, in Hershey, PA from November5 through November 8, 2026. For the auction at state convention, our chapter is putting together a basket of gift cards! Please consider contributing a gift card
for a national business chain to be included in the basket. If you are attending the convention, please bring your gift card there. If not, please bring it to the October 3, 2026 meeting.</div>

In December, our chapter will be holding our annual holiday activity with St. Lucy Day School for Children with Visual Impairments. Come to the meeting to hear all the details and get involved in this outreach effort.</div>

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Finally, our own Keystone Chapter holiday party will be on Friday December 18, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Caseys Restaurant on 812 N. Lansdowne Ave., in Drexel Hill, PA. This will be a sit-down dinner and the attire
is holiday fun! Each meal includes a Caesar salad for the starter, green beans and mashed potatoes for the sides, and ice cream and half of a brownie for dessert. For the entres,you have a choice of chicken cordon bleu, Maryland crab cakes, or stuffed shells
(vegetarian option). You must choose one. Every dinner includes water, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. To RSVP, please send $45 to David Goldstein at

<span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);">Finally, in August, our chapter members completed our first-ever Philly Fun Walk to help raise awareness about blind people and to raise funds for the work of the National Federation of the Blind. We walked 2 miles in the
hot August sun from the Penn Museum to the beautiful Cira Green park, not to mention, climbed up 12 flights of stairs to get to the rooftop venue. And proving to people that blind people get up and move, and we are part of the community, all along the way!
It was a success and we have almost reached our goal of $250!. You can still help by sponsoring our chapters completion of this walk by making a donation. Please go to
