Hi everyone. Earlier today, I sent an email referencing Stephanie Martin's #WhyImAFederationist Facebook post. Pam has confirmed with me that the #WhyImAFederationist campaign will last throughout the month of March. If you are on social media, particularly Facebook, it would be great if you would write a post describing why you are a member of the National Federation of the Blind. Some ideas include: What brought you to the Federation; what about the NFB has made you stick around (for your own benefit or that of your student and/or child); and what you want others to know about your journey.

Again, it is important to use the hash tag #WhyImAFederationist (which is Why I'm a Federationist-without the apostrophe). Please do not use the hash tag #WhyIAmAFederationist. The correct usage is #WhyImAFederationist. For those who may not be familiar, this distinction is important, as hash tags are searchable and very specific.

Thank you for telling your story. I look forward to reading about your journey to the National Federation of the Blind and am confident that your words will be a blessing to many. I plan to post my story in the morning, and wish each of you a good evening!
