Hi everyone. I was asked to redistribute yesterday's announcement with a clarification. Alison and the others involved in this initiative are so glad of the responses received and requests made for books. Please take note, however, that the LA Organization of Parents of Blind Children has launched this project in an effort not only to share Braille with youth but to connect and engage more fully with Louisiana parents so that families can be apprised of future happenings.

So, educators, if you will, please ask parents to reach out individually to Alison with their contact information so that she and other parent leaders can interact and share information directly with them. As you are aware, with good reason, as educators, privacy concerns do not allow you to share family contact info, so it would be great to have those folks reach out to Alison.

Thanks to all. Braille Rocks!
