Hello all,
It is time to cast our votes for the election. Look in the Newsline local
channel for the candidates for state and local elections and for the state
and local questions. There are many ways you can vote; you can vote by mail
or drop your ballot off in one of the appropriate boxes. If voting by mail,
you can request a ballot up to November 8. Be sure to sign the ballot.
Early voting in person begins Thursday, October 27, and lasts through
November 3. You can also vote in person on election day. The important
thing is to remember that your vote counts, so cast your ballot.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland knows that blindness is
not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Everyday we raise
the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
