[MABM] Last Call: In Person Board Meeting April 1, 2023

All,
This is the last call for anyone wanting to attend the in-person Board
Meeting at BISM in Baltimore this Saturday, April 1, 2023 from 10AM - 3PM,
hosted by our Baltimore County Chapter of the NFB.  If you plan to come,
please email me by the end of the day today with your choice of sandwich and
potato chips or carrot chips for lunch.  This will cost $20 per person.


1. Turkey Avocado | Honey Wheat - Oven-roasted turkey breast topped with
avocado, thin sliced green peppers, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and our signature
sauce.
 
2. Albacore Tuna | Sourdough - 
The best fancy white albacore tuna with Swiss cheese on crisp lettuce.
 
3. Cashew Chicken | Sourdough - 
Tender chicken breast blended with mayonnaise, sweet celery, and onions on
lettuce.
 
4. Vegetarian (V) | 13-Grain - Mushrooms, cucumbers, vine-ripened tomatoes,
roasted red peppers, and avocados on lettuce with cheddar cheese and pesto
mayonnaise.
 
 
All sandwiches are served with:

Subject: Reminder: In Person Board Meeting April 1, 2023

The Board of Directors of the NFB of Maryland will hold an in-person Board
Meeting on Saturday, April 1, 2023.  The meeting will take place from 10AM -
3PM at Blind Industries and Services of Maryland.  Our newly reorganized
Baltimore County Chapter will serve as the host.  Lunch will be available
for purchase for approximately $20.  Please let me know by March 25, 2023 if
you plan to attend by emailing President at nfbmd.org or calling 443-426-4110.

Subject: Progress on Guide Dog Bill

Hi everyone, we have some significant progress on our guide dog protection
in housing legislation. The Senate Judicial  Proceedings Committee has voted
the bill out of the committee with a favorable report. That means in the
next few days, the bill will be considered by the full Maryland senate. The
Senate will have two opportunities to consider the bill and debate it. If,
on the second review, they vote to adopt it, it will then move over to the
House of Delegates for their consideration. We will keep you posted as
things progress, and hopefully things will move quickly now
