<h1><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:24pt">Business Owners Needed for Independent Study</span></h1>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">The National Federation of the Blind is searching for blind and low-vision small business owners or employees who are heavily involved in running a business's online presence to participate in
one hour of user testing of the accessibility and usability of a business management platform. Compensation of $150.00 will be provided. If you meet the following criteria and are interested in participating, please email me at

<h2><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:18pt">Requirements for Participation:</span></h2>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">1. You are over the age of 18 and mostly/completely rely on screen reading software on your computer.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">2. You are heavily involved in managing a business's online presence (as an owner or as an employee).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">3. You/the business cannot have or have ever had a Google My Business account.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">4. The business has to have a physical location (where customers can go) and ideally an online presence, or you/your business is willing and interested in having an online presence.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">5. The business is a retail business (grocery store, pharmacy, pet store, etc.) or provides a service from the following six groups:</span></p>
<ul>
<li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Group 1. plumbers, electricians, builders, and HVAC services</span></li><li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Group 2. financial, tax, or insurance services</span></li><li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Group 3. Fitness (personal trainer, yoga)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Group 4. Health and beauty (beauty salons, hairdressers, physiotherapy, etc.)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Group 5. Events (party planners, weddings, funerals, photographers)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Group 6. Educational (tutors, music teachers, professional coaching)</span></li><li><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Other: If you do not see your business category represented here, please give a description of what you do</span></li></ul>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">6. In addition to your computer, you have access to a second device: phone, tablet with internet connection, or a landline. Also you must consent to being observed remotely and recorded while conducting
user testing.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family:calibri,sans-serif; font-size:14pt">Please note that if you meet the above requirements, there will be an additional ten minute phone call to determine whether or not you are a good fit for this particular study.</span></p>
