Subject: [Massachusetts-NFB] Major changes being planned to the 170 MBTA buses

Hi, folks,

Many of us take MBTA buses around town, in all areas of the Boston area. Many of you might know about the multi-billion dollar Bus Network Redesign process, which has now released two versions of bus changes, with the most recent one being release at the end of October. There is still public comment being accepted, if you'd like to add your voice. These are the first major changes in 50 years.

Some bus routes are being eliminated, others, extended, others shorted, some are less frequent, others more frequent.

Below are three links: one to view and navigate the maps and schedules (which are accessible, by and large, but hard for even sighted people); one to view the website over all; and one link to an email to add your voice.

I hope that these changes won't ad hardship to your travels.

Here's the link to the map:

Here's the link to the site in general:

Kindest regards,

Helen
