[Massachusetts-NFB] Please Reach Out to Say Hello to Gerry DiFranza 617-418-5417 Birthday Wednesday September 7th

Gerry had a special passion for promoting Braille, which if memory serves
was at the heart of his legislative endeavors. He didn't know Braille, and
I doubt he does now, but he wanted to ensure that other blind people could
know it.

Gerry DiFranza,

Many of you will remember Gerry DiFranza, a long time NFBMA and Cambridge
chapter member from Winthrop. Gerry has always had a passion for
legislation, and helped us through a great connection with the speaker of
the Massachusetts house over the years.

Gerry now lives in East Boston, and
he would appreciate hearing from new and old friends in the Cambridge
chapter and NFB by telephone.

Today Wednesday September 7th is Gerry's birthday!

You can reach Gerry's direct phone line at:

Please feel free to call and say hello whether you knew Gerry in the
Cambridge chapter in the past, or you are just meeting him for the first
time in making this call. Don't be shy!

Again please do feel free to give Gerry a call, even if you did not know him
back in the day of the Cambridge chapter. He would appreciate getting to
know new members, and hearing about the stories of our lived experiences

A phone call or voicemail message may seem like a simple thing, but it can
really bring positivity to someone you are taking the time to reach out too!

Thank you!

Mika Pyyhkala and David Ticchi
