Gerry had a special passion for promoting Braille, which if memory serves
was at the heart of his legislative endeavors.  He didn't know Braille, and
I doubt he does now, but he wanted to ensure that other blind people could
know it.

Many of you will remember Gerry DiFranza, a long time NFBMA and Cambridge
chapter member from Winthrop. Gerry has always  had a passion for
legislation, and helped us through a great connection with the speaker of
the Massachusetts house over the years.

Gerry now lives in East Boston, and
he would appreciate hearing from new and old friends in the Cambridge
chapter and NFB by telephone.

Today Wednesday September 7th is Gerry's birthday!
