[Massachusetts-NFB] Students: Please Join Us At State Convention!

Good afternoon everyone.

Students, we have a lot of exciting things coming up.

First, if you are interested in the IEP process and how you can be a 
better advocate for yourself, please attend the parents' meeting on 
Thursday from 4:30-6:30 PM. Here is the zoom link.

After that, you are invited to join us for our annual business meeting, 
which will be held over Zoom this year at 7:30 PM. At this meeting, we 
will discuss applying for a national scholarship and the convention 
experience for scholarship finalists, working with the Massachusetts 
Commission for the Blind, and will elect all board positions for the 
next year. If you have not paid your membership dues for the division, 
please do so ASAP. You cannot vote or run for a position unless you are 
a member. Dues are ten dollars and will last until December 31st of this 
year. When you make a donation, please write that the money is for the 
student division. If there is not a place to send a note, please email, 
call, or text me, and let me know that you have donated. You can pay via

On Saturday, March 4th, please join us for our lunch right after our 
morning general session. You will receive a boxed lunch if you have 
registered for the convention and contacted Shara with your lunch option 
preference. The lunch options on the registration form are no longer 
valid. At our lunch, we will hear from our national rep, but mostly, we 
will get to know each other and discuss our plans for the division for 
the next year. Come prepared to offer feedback and suggestions.
