Good Morning,

The National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts has recently established a parents’ division whose mission is to provide support for both visually-impaired and blind parents as well as parents of visually-impaired or blind children.

Please join us in collaboration with the Massachusetts Association of Blind Students for an IEP discussion this Thursday, March 2nd from 4:30PM - 6:30PM. Learn about the IEP process and its importance in the lives of our blind children. Get tips on how a good IEP Team can lead to great advocacy skills and an amazing future in both higher education and professional life. Hear from TVI Michell Gip, former student Andrew Johnson, and Massachusetts Commission for the Blind Child Social Rehab professional Kyle Stremel. Please feel free to encourage any or all of your staff members to attend!
