Join the Next RTAG General Meeting - Thursday, June 29 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Make Your Voice Heard on Bikes and MBTA Accessibility! Join the Next RTAG General Meeting Thursday, June 29 from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. If you have an opinion on bicycles and accessibility at the MBTA, don’t miss this month’s General Meeting of the Riders’ Transportation Access Group (RTAG). As part of the meeting agenda, RTAG will host a listening session for riders to share their thoughts and experiences around bicycles and public transit access. How do bike-related policies and infrastructure impact your ability to access the MBTA? How can the MBTA promote a system that’s good for both bike safety and transit accessibility? MBTA staff will be in attendance with a brief presentation on: Current policies about bicycles on bus, subway, and Commuter Rail Coordination efforts with municipalities on bike lanes near bus stops But most of all, the MBTA will be there to listen to what you have to say. You’ll also hear from General Manager Phillip Eng. The MBTA looks forward to your participation. Note: The RIDE will not share a presentation during this meeting to allow enough time for full participation in the listening session. The Office of Transportation Access will share statistics and updates about The RIDE before the meeting. If you have specific RIDE concerns, please contact rtagboston at bostoncil.org or by phone at 978-893-8100. Date: Thursday, June 29, 2023 Time: 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. Location: Zoom Register for the meeting in advance After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing Zoom access information about joining the meeting. All RTAG meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and people with limited English proficiency. Real-time captioning (CART) and American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters will be provided for this meeting.
