[Massachusetts-NFB] Call for Presentations for our February 23-25, 2024 NFB of MA convention

Hi Massachusetts Federationists and others interested in presentations at
the state convention,

 

We are so excited for our 2024 National Federation of the Blind of
Massachusetts State Convention to be held February 23-25 at the Embassy
Suites by Hilton, Boston Logan. 


Call for Presentations


 

We are eager to bring creative ideas and presentations from across the
country. This year, we are trying an experiment to put out a call for
presentations.

 

While many of our best ideas come from NFB of Massachusetts members, we are
very open to outside ideas for programming and presentations that might be
valuable to our participants. In 2023, we had more than 100 people in
attendance. Do you have a topic that would be valuable to our general
membership? Do you have programs for working age adults, seniors, students
or parents?


Who is the Audience?


 

Hundreds of blind people, parents of blind children, service providers,
technology producers/distributors, inventors of products designed to enhance
accessibility and independence, and representatives from rehabilitation
services, agencies, private agencies for the blind. At our convention, we
also award scholarships to deserving young blind scholars.
