Juan,
Please contact Kyra directly.
This year's convention will have a 2-hour lunch break. Everyone will be
responsible for paying for and choosing your own lunch. But it is extremely
important to be back by 2PM to be there for our exciting afternoon sessions
and win your door prizes.
There will be six teams from which we would like for you to choose one for
lunch on Saturday, March 16. Please take a look at the following team
leaders, restaurant choices and menus below. When you have decided which
location you would like to have lunch, it is necessary to contact your team
leader. The team leader will be responsible for making reservations and
guiding the team to and from the hotel. There are two choices inside the
hotel The other four, are within a short walking distance. The team leaders
will be walking there. If walking is not an option for you, we strongly
recommend that you stay and have lunch at the Regatta Pub, inside the hotel.
You are responsible for paying for the cost of your own food, drinks and
gratuity. If none of these places are something you would choose, you are
welcome to get to and from or have delivered from where ever you select on
your own. Please contact your team leader no later than Monday January 15,
2024.

Good Morning,

Please pay close attention to the details of this message and keep a copy
for your reference. If we are sending you a payment for any reason or if
you are sending us money, these guidelines must be followed to receive a
prompt and correct transfer. When it comes to finances, I know we all
appreciate it when things go smoothly.

In the below guidelines NFB of Massachusetts is referred to as the
"affiliate."

1. The affiliate is now able to make payments to and receive funds from
members and others using Zelle. To use Zelle, here are the essential
requirements:

. Zelle payments must be sent to the affiliate using the email address
treasurer at nfbma.org <mailto:treasurer at nfbma.org> .

. It's critical that the sender indicates the purpose of the payment in the
memo field.

. Sender may send a separate email notification to the treasurer at nfbma.org
<mailto:treasurer at nfbma.org> address as follow-up.

2. Regarding the process for seeking reimbursement(s) from the affiliate,
here are some things to bear in mind:

. All reimbursement requests and backups must be submitted electronically.

. Please make sure your reimbursement request includes the following:

A description (itemized list) of what the payment was for.

Your name and the name the check must be made payable to.

The address the check should be mailed to.

A phone number, in case there is an issue.

If you prefer to be paid via Zelle, please indicate that in your request and
provide the name and phone number or email associated with the Zelle
account. Otherwise, the payment will be by check.

. All reimbursement requests must be accompanied by backup documentation
such as receipt(s) or statement authorizing that expenditure.

. The request and backup documentation must be emailed to the affiliate
President with a copy to the affiliate Treasurer.

. Once the President reviews and approves, he/she would forward the package
(the request and backup) to the Treasurer with authorization to process the
payment.

Thank you,

Shara Winton
