[Massachusetts-NFB] Guide dog users

I’m interested.  I can do either time on either Monday, but have a slight preference for Monday the twenty-second at six-thirty.  My time preference is because of a meeting I join on Mondays at eight, but I can be flexible.

 

I expect that Sheldon will also be there, althouth I don’t yet know what his exact contribution will be in addition to wagging.

Hello guy dog users of Massachusetts NFB.

 

After traveling to and from Orlando for the NFB national convention, I am disheartened with what we have to go through to travel with our well-trained guide dogs. Also, I'm  sure many of you have experienced refusals from Uber and Lyft to travel with our guy dogs.  So, I am very interested in forming  a committee to see if there's enough interest to officially start a group. 

 

In the meantime, I'd be happy and willing to organize a zoom meeting with anyone who is interested in participating in a discussion to decide what we would like to do.

 

I would like to meet in the next week or two so if interested, please let me know if Monday 7/15 or 7/22 at 6:30 or 7:00pm works for you to meet over zoom.

I have heard from   three of you  wanting to start a guide dog group. Please start talking with each other and form a casual meet-up. At that meet- up, decide what you would like to gain from this group and how you might like to organize. I think this is a great idea!
