Hi All,

I just recently started working with Lundy, a real estate company based out of San Jose California. They are developing a home search process that can be done via Alexa, regardless of device model, but I’m not sure about other smart speakers. They recently worked with the NFB and they are interested in any and all feedback. Note this can be done from anywhere because it is done via Alexa, but not all states have listings yet. Some places that do include Sacramento, California, Houston, Texas, Denver, Colorado, Colorado Springs, Colorado, Orlando, Florida, Atlanta, Georgia, Portland, Oregon, and there are a couple more, but it is being developed, so that’s why there are a few places that have listings currently. All you say is “Alexa, start finding homes. “Then she will open the skill and then you say “start a search “and then after it tells you about how you can search, saying that you can give it specific criteria or tell it your situation, then you talk and then after that, it will ask you different questions that you answer. If anyone is interested in a demo or a full list of locations, let me know. If you would like to provide feedback after conducting a home search or if NFB would like to potentially partner with this company or assist in the efforts of developing this technology making home searches more accessible for blind people, the email of the Director of operations is shannon at getlundy.io. If you are a part of other list serves, feel free to pass this information along.

Sincerely,
Bronwen
