The time to officially register for our House of Seven Gables tour has
expired. However, We were allowed a bit of an extension to sign people up.
Touring the house of the Seven Gables is a tour that you will not forget.
If you love learning about the history of early America, love literature,
Love old homes or new progressive movements, the House of the Seven Gables
is a tour you don't want to miss!
President Riccobono will be attending this tour, so this might be a chance
to talk with him and walk him. You will find that is very personable and
loves getting to know the members of the NFB. We are family, after all.
So, here is your last chance to sign up for one of the most enchanting and
interesting tours in Massachusetts By the way they do a great job with
description and even some tactile examples. The tour will take place on
Friday at 1PM. . In 1668, merchant and shipowner John Turner I, and his wife
Elizabeth Robinson Turner, built a house on Salem Harbor that was destined
to become one of America's most beloved historic homes. Designated a
National Historic Landmark District in 2007, The House of the Seven Gables
is best known today as the setting of world-renowned American author
Nathaniel Hawthorne's 1851 novel. But it is so much more! Learn about four
centuries of inclusive history at one of America's most beloved historic
homes.
