I took a quick look at their site and was unable to find any accessibility policy statement or accessibility conformance report which isn’t a good sign. Here’s a link to their support page <https://www.linkit.com/tech-support> with a contact form.
Phone: +1 212 242 5065
I would start by having the teacher contact the company directly and request an ACR or accessibility conformance report.
Were you given any information on which screen reader is being used by the student?

The tech-support people at the school are aware of this. They said to just try a different laptop, but the issue is not his laptop. The issue is the program link it which is the screen reader they use.
