               Hi All,

I am sure this will be a great program. For those of you who don’t know, Peggy is known in the NFB as “the blind history lady.” She and her husband Curtis are very involved in the NFB. They now reside in Colorado. Both Curtis and Peggy are very active and dynamic NFB members. Let’s support and show up for this event, if we can. Thanks

JBI Presents Historian Peggy Chong
For more than three decades, Peggy Chong has documented empowering stories about people who were blind. Her research and writing seek to preserve the stories of individuals who were blind, both those who have made significant contributions to our nation’s history and those who led quieter lives.

Join us at 4pm EST today Wednesday, May 29th via Zoom to learn from Peggy about her own life, her work, and her research on Goldie, a factory worker from the early 20th century.
