>From our fun and fabulous door prize chair, Carol Maurice
This is a friendly reminder that I am looking for and expecting to have the
BEST door prizes in NFBMA convention history for our exciting convention
from March 14 through March 16!! Basil and I have gotten some awesome
prizes, but we need many more. We need your help and I know I can count on
you all.
Please keep the following instructions in mind so that the process of
getting door prizes to me will run smoothly.
* On each door prize, I Must have a large print description, so I can let
everyone in the audience know what each prize is, and give recognition to
each donor. If this is not possible for you, please put on a Braille
description and I will have someone help me to have it read.
You can get the prizes to me in one of the following ways:
1. If the prize is an email gift card or certificate, please send it to me
atcamaruice at comcast.net <mailto:atcamaruice at comcast.net> . In the subject
line or message body, please write the type of gift card or certificate and
its monetary value. I Must receive these emails no later than Tuesday, March
11! Please note, This is only for those cards or certificates that are
email type. If the card or certificate is one you can bring, then please
follow the instructions below.
2. Call me at 413-331-8239 so we can make arrangements at the convention for
me to get prizes from you.
3. Drop off prizes at the welcome/information desk and I can get them from
the people there. But do not simply leave them at this table, speak to
someone, let them know what you have, be sure to give them your name and
make sure you know the name of the person with whom you left the
prize/prizes.
Please, under any circumstance, Do NOT drop prizes at the registration
table!
So that winners can get their prizes, I am still looking for a few volunteer
runners to give out these prizes I am also looking for a volunteer or two
who can read Braille to help out with the door prize sorting. If you can do
either of these important jobs, please call me at 413-331-8239 or send me
an email atcamaurice at comcast.net <mailto:atcamaurice at comcast.net> . I really
appreciate the people who have volunteered to be runners so far!!
Thank you all in advance for the wonderful prizes, for being runners, being
sorters and contributing to this fun part of the convention. I can't wait to
see you in Springfield!!
