Thanks for organizing the Washington seminar. I have registered  with the link provided.
I have attended Washington Seminar since 2004 and would be happy to train others on how to have a convincing dialog with senate officers and legislators.
Please let me know next steps for travel plans. I have not made any hotel reservations yet, and I would be happy to share  the room with other attending  members from Feb 2 to 5.
Please let me know to request for  reimbursements to cover  air/hotel incidental costs.

Dear Affiliate Presidents and Legislative Directors:

As we approach the holidays and the end of 2024, we wanted to send out a reminder regarding the upcoming 2025 Washington Seminar. First and foremost, there is only one week left to reserve your hotel room at our special rate of $194 per night (plus taxes and fees). Our room block will be closed on Tuesday, December 31, so if you have not already reserved your room, please do so by using the booking link found at nfb.org/Washington-seminar.

To prepare everyone for the 2025 Washington Seminar, we will be conducting a series of four Zoom training sessions in the weeks leading up to the event. The schedule for these trainings is:
Thursday, January 9, 8:00 p.m. Eastern – Issues Training
Monday, January 13, 8:00 p.m. Eastern – Mock Meeting #1
Wednesday, January 15, 8:00 p.m. Eastern – Washington Seminar Portal
Thursday, January 23, 8:00 p.m. Eastern – Mock Meeting #2
The Zoom information will be distributed in the near future, but we wanted to make sure you all put the dates on your calendars as soon as possible.

As a reminder, our three issues for the 2025 Washington Seminar are the Websites and Software Applications Accessibility Act, the Medical Device Nonvisual Accessibility Act, and the Blind Americans Return to Work Act. The fact sheets for all three of these bills are currently undergoing our rigorous proofreading process and we plan to have them publicly available during the week of January 6, 2025.

Finally, the full 2025 Washington Seminar agenda is now available on the Washington Seminar page of our website at nfb.org/Washington-seminar. Please continue to check the Washington Seminar page for other important updates, as we will be updating it frequently in the next few weeks.
