Dear Massachusetts NFB Family,

I just wanted to take a moment to share what a truly wonderful time we had at this year’s national convention in New Orleans! As always, it was energizing to connect with members from across the country, and to feel the spirit, purpose, and unity that makes our movement so strong.

While our exhibit table wasn’t quite as successful as it was last year in terms of traffic and engagement, I still believe it was absolutely worthwhile to have a presence. It gave us an opportunity to represent the great work we’re doing here in Massachusetts, and to make meaningful connections with fellow Federationists, friends, and allies.

Personally, I really enjoyed the opportunity to be in charge of scheduling and helping to run the table. It was both a learning experience and a rewarding one, and I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who helped make it possible. To each person who took a shift — or several — thank you! Your time and effort meant so much, and I couldn’t have done it without you.
Our total intake at the end of exhibit hall was, $992

Looking forward to carrying this momentum forward into the rest of the year and beyond!

Enjoy the rest of your summer! I will look forward to seeing and talking with all of you next month at our chapter meetings!

Warmly,
Shirley Dorris
