Subject: [Massachusetts-NFB] I'm back, like The Terminator

Greetings!

Most people here know that I got hit by a car on 9 May and got a broken ankle out of it. I was in the hospital until 21 May, at St. Joseph's rehab place until 8 June, and have been home since then. Until this weekend, though, I have not been able to be sure I could climb safely up to our attic and use my computer. It's not great fun, but I can now and want to thank all the people who got in touch with me during these days of healing. My surgeon said it will take a year for the ankle to heal completely, and this was after another person, who also had this problem, said the same thing. I just hope that means next may at the latest, not next June or July.

I've missed out on a hell of a lot in Federation stuff, but will catch up to the extent that I can in time. I intend to make it to the next Cambridge chapter meeting, although whether in person or via Zoom I don't yet know.

I hope everybody that made it to the national convention had a good and productive time there.

Best,

Al Sten-Clanton
