[Massachusetts-NFB] Guide Dog Discrimination on ParaTransit in MA: Seeking Experiences

Hi all,


I’m reaching out to identify guide dog users in Massachusetts who have
experienced discrimination while using Paratransit, particularly if you
were told by a dispatcher or track operator that they could not find you a
driver because of your guide dog, or if you were treated differently in any
way due to having a guide dog.


Al Elia, a board member of the National Association of Guide Dog Users
(NAGDU), is gathering information to build a case addressing these ongoing
issues. Firsthand accounts from guide dog users are essential to this
effort.
