Greetings everyone,

 

I wanted to reach out and ask that if you are considering volunteering for the NFB BELL Academy dates which are August 4 through the 15th to please reach out to me and let me know. As I have mentioned before National has changed some of the rules and expectations for volunteers. This year, each volunteer that will be actively working with children must not only complete their background check but also a small course going over youth participant protection policy and Dakota conduct. I need to send. National the list of volunteers sooner rather than later so that they can send both forms/logins to each of the volunteers and people have enough time to complete these steps. I would like to send this information to National by May 15 so that everybody has enough time before National convention and NFB BELL Academy to complete both items. If you know you will be volunteering or if you’re thinking about it and I’m not sure please reach out to me and let me know. I rather have you down on the list and you to have all them Loggings in case you are able to volunteer then having to deny someone the opportunity to volunteer because they have not met their requirements.
