Hi ElizabethAnn! Thank you so much for your kind wishes. Al had surgery today for his broken ankle, and he can’t put any weight on it for a month or two. He’s still at Boston Medical Center and will be there through tomorrow. I’ll have more to share on Friday and I may write a message to the whole affiliate.

Hi NFB family! Al and I really wanted to be at the meeting tonight. But we’re having a family emergency: Al got hit by a car on Friday morning and is currently in Boston Medical Center with a broken ankle. So he’s laid up, and I’m tired and stressed out. Believe me, we’d have far rather been at the meeting.
