Dear NFB, of Massachusetts, family, and friends,

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out today and made our annual David Ticchi Walk such a wonderful success! Everything about today was amazing — from the warm sunshine to the incredible energy and smiles from all of you who joined us.

A huge thank you to everyone who brought snacks, made donations, and supported the event in every way! Special thanks to our Springfield Chapter members who made the trip to Cambridge to participate — we truly appreciated your presence and enthusiasm.

We were also so fortunate to have the amazing Delta Gamma women with us today! Their kindness, guidance, and willingness to serve as sighted guides were truly invaluable.

I can’t forget to say how much it meant to have our extended member, Jamal Mazrui , here with us all the way from Seattle! Your presence added something truly special to the day.

I also want to take a moment to express my sincere appreciation to our founder and lifetime member, David Ticchi , for being an extraordinary man, a devoted NFB member, a wonderful mentor, and a great advisor. And of course, a big thank-you to our affiliate president for all her hard work and dedication in helping make this walk come together so beautifully.

As we all witnessed today, it takes an amazing team to make an event like this happen — and teamwork truly makes the dream work! I’ll be tallying up our total intake from today and will share that soon.
