<https://www.boston.gov/public-notices/16486776> Good Morning! I hope you
are all doing well. This is a serious request asking for your presence at
this event. If you can, please, be there on Tuesday. This is scheduled in
Boston for next Tuesday, October 28 @ 2pm, in regards to the AV ordinance
introduced in July
<https://www.boston.gov/sites/default/files/file/2025/10/Docket%20%231432.pd
f> and we are hoping to have a strong turnout.

As you know, Waymo hopes to one day bring fully autonomous driving
technology to Massachusetts to help make the roads safer and more
accessible, allowing residents to reap the benefits that so many others are
already experiencing in the markets Waymo operates today.

Please join us, you can participate in any of the ways below:

1. Testifying as a member of the public after the panels speak

2. Submitting a letter of support, either as an individual or on behalf
of an organization

3. Attending the hearing as a supportive listener (no speaking role)

4. Speaking with media and or reporters who are interested in hearing
why people are excited about the benefits of AVs (this could be before,
during or after the hearing)

This is a public hearing - so anyone is welcome to attend or sign up to
testify. We do expect a mix of Teamsters, AFL-CIO, and 32BJ to be in
attendance and their most common talking point is about a potential loss of
human driver jobs. Our goal is for your local elected officials to have a
balanced perspective by hearing from the many communities that stand to
benefit from AVs.

I realize this is giving you very little notice . So if you can please do
what you can to support this effort. Please let me know if you are available
to attend. Our goal is to have a strong show of support in the room We'd
love to see as many of us, particularly with our white canes and our Guide
dogs, as possible. Let's get 30+ people among our supporters there. this
is one of those situations where volume will truly help move the needle. We
want to make AVs a reality in Massachusetts.

This is not a voting hearing, simply an information discussion and we are
really hoping to lift up the accessibility benefits of AV's so the council
isn't only hearing from labor unions/Uber & Lyft drivers.

Let's fill the room!

Thank you for your consideration,

With Love, Hope and Determination,

Shara
