[Massachusetts-NFB] in case anybody on this list sees a weird message from us

Greetings!
Masha and I got a message today that purported to be from a very good
friend of mine. I wrote to him because I couldn't figure out what to do
with it, and thought it was an inaccessible service he was using to
invite us to something. I wrote to him to ask for something in the body
of an e-mail, and he replied that the thing wasn't from him.
My friend said he hoped spam wouldn't be going to other people with our
names on it. That hasn't happened to us before, as far as I know, but
I'm sending out the alarm to this list and probably other people as
well. If anybody sees a message appearing to be from Masha or me that
doesn't seem to belong on this list, please tell us. I don't think
either of us went far enough into this toxic rabbit-killing hole that
you'll get spam using our e-mail address, but I am not confident that we
didn't.
I'm sorry to have to write such a message.
Al Sten-Clanton
