Subject: [Massachusetts-NFB] Today at Perkins, tomorrow in Worcester ! It's your last chance to see these accessible voting machines

Hi NFB Family and Friends,

Today and tomorrow is your last chance to have your voice heard on voting equipment that could be purchased for Massachusetts. If you haven’t already gone to one of the events earlier this week, you can attend one of these last two events. If you have gone or get a chance to go please let me know your thoughts. DLC is asking me to give them a report of what our members think. I can be reached at 617-600-8130 or of course, please feel free to send me an email at SharaWinton at gmail.com <mailto:SharaWinton at gmail.com> . I think this is pretty exciting.

Thank you.

Warmly,

Shara

Just a friendly reminder that the Accessible Voting Equipment Vendor Fairs are this week and we hope you can join us! 😊

These vendor fairs are the first step in the process to replace our existing accessible voting equipment. As such, the purpose of these fairs is to bring together Massachusetts local election officials, the disability community, and voters to review available accessible equipment, ask questions, and provide feedback.

These fairs will be held for a period of three hours so feel free to join us anytime during those hours.

The schedule of fairs is as follows:

Thursday, August 13, 2026

10AM – 1PM

Perkins School for the Blind

Watertown, MA 02472

Grousbeck Center for Students and Technology (GCST)

First floor conference room

The GPS address for the GCST is 55 Beechwood Ave in Watertown, MA.

(You must use that address, as there is no direct access to the GCST parking lot from the main gate at 175 North Beacon St, Watertown, MA 02472.)

Friday, August 14, 2026

10AM – 1PM

Blackstone River Greenway Visitor Center

3 Paul Clancy Way

Worcester, MA 0160

With love, hope and determination,

Shara Winton
