Dear Friends,

 

Our September virtual descriptive tour is titled "Step Up to the Plate- A Baseball Themed Tour".  Major League Baseball is heading into the final stretch of the regular season, with teams making their push for the playoffs. But baseball’s appeal extends far beyond the major leagues—and far beyond America.

Join us for a lively Zoom tour exploring the game through art. We’ll travel across cultures and artistic styles, looking at both familiar images of baseball and imaginative works that play with its traditions, personalities, and visual language.

Whether you’re a devoted fan or simply curious to see how artists have taken inspiration from the game, there will be plenty to enjoy. Pull on your favorite ball cap, and join the fun on Saturday, September 19.
