[Massachusetts-NFB] First Cambridge chapter meeting of the new year

Dear Cambridge Chapter Members,

Happy New Year! I hope 2026 is already off to a fabulous and inspiring start for each of you.

I’m excited to share that Monday, January 12 will be our first Cambridge Chapter meeting of this brand-new year ! We’ll be meeting at our usual location — the Cambridge Citywide Senior Center — and at our usual time, 6:00 PM .

I truly believe that 2026 has the potential to be our BEST year yet for our chapter and for the National Federation of the Blind of Massachusetts . Together, we can continue building momentum with new ideas, exciting fundraising events, and strong advocacy for the blind community here in Massachusetts. When we work together, there is no limit to what we can accomplish!

While we will continue to offer a hybrid meeting option , I strongly encourage everyone who is able to join us in person . There is an incredible energy, connection, and excitement when we have a full house — and I would love for us to make that the norm more often this year.
And as a little extra incentive, those who attend in person can look forward to special treats , including homemade baked goodies by your chapter president — made with love!

Let’s start 2026 with enthusiasm, unity, purpose… and something sweet to share. I’m truly looking forward to seeing everyone, reconnecting, and kicking off an amazing year together.
