We wanted to pass along the below announcement from Be My Eyes regarding a partnership between them and Amtrak to help blind and low vision people navigate stations located in the north east corridor.

Taking Amtrak to Washington Seminar from the northeast corridor? The folks at Be My Eyes want you to know about a new visual description service available to any Be My Eyes smartphone or Meta glasses user. Effective immediately travelers can call a live agent who is prepared to give you visual descriptions of Amtrak stations and assist in finding key places within the station and its platforms.

Just go to the Service Directory in the Be My Eyes app and choose Amtrak. Each agent has maps of all stations in Amtrak’s northeast corridor area from Washington DC north. And best of all, the new Be My Eyes Amtrak service is completely free of charge. Try it out for Washington Seminar or whenever your travels take you to Amtrak’s northeast corridor.
