For the past several months, the National Federation of the Blind has engaged in regular communication with the National Institutes of Health to monitor their progress advising companies how to modify existing and new test kits to be more usable by everyone with disabilities. Some of our members are now directly working with these companies and the NIH as subject-matter experts in nonvisual and low-vision accessibility.
